WOW, Hello HubSpot ?
As a recent graduate of the Flatiron’s Bootcamp, I learned the typical Rails, SQL’s, React, JS,etc. and shortly thereafter pushed into the world of data structures and algorithms right after graduation. My life as of late has been nothing but resume prep, job search, interviews, rejection emails, self-doubt, then wash rinse, and repeat.
I was feeling very much like 22 in Pixar’s Soul.
Until recently when I was introduced to HubSpot.
What is HubSpot?
In short, HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales platform that helps companies to attract visitors, convert leads and close customers.
It does this by bringing together a variety of functionalities and allowing marketing and sales departments to manage all their activities in one place. This includes content creation, social media sharing, workflow automation, lead capture, customer relationship management, sales pipeline mapping and performance tracking.
As a result, companies are better equipped to manage sales and marketing activities efficiently, and leads can be nurtured through the buyer’s journey effortlessly. No more siloed information, no more misaligned departments. Everything happens in one place.

Hubspot allows me to merge my love for marketing, customer relations, brand building, coding, and creativity all into one big hub of excitement. The most important angle of Hubspot for me is having the ability to nurture the buyer’s journey from start to finish. I created logos, Instagram layouts for friends and family, assisted in web sites, however never had the chance to commit fully to the entire process.But Hubspot has ignited that spark for me and made me realize that it's possible.
As a software engineer code and working code was always the most important thing for me, but learning how I can merge development and the user experience all into is very exciting, and I am overjoyed to see where this journey leads.
Maybe it’s my Spark?
I’m not exactly it's all fairly new, but I will continue to explore and learn more about HubSpot and get better as a developer. Documenting my journey along the way through weekly blog posts here.
